Description: Rautatieto Oy provided the outdoor safety and signaling system installation work in addition to the high-voltage work related to the construction of the track extension.

Work that was done on site included base cabling and smaller baeling for signaling systems, dismantling obsolete safety and signaling system equipment and reading the new safety system installations for the introduction process, including: testing all the installation work done as well as; dismantling, re-installation and measurement of the railway switch heating system.

The busiest eastern, intercity border station was provided with additional rail capacity, especially for freight needs on a schedule.
